A Rose-breasted Grosbeak Visits *a video treat*

A visit by a sweet sounding Rose-breasted Grosbeak.

The song of this bird is so calming to me. I hope
you enjoy this little video -44seconds. I produced
it
using a few photos of the grosbeak
at our feeders and included
its beautiful song.

  1. Oh boy...do I love this! I have only had a rose-breasted grosbeak a few times in the 7 years we have been on the farmette. Mostly I get goldfinch and sparrows, with the occasional chickadee and cardinal. And in the summer we get the hummers, bluebirds and swallows.(and of course, our state bird, the robin!!!) We feed with black oiler sunflower seeds and suet for the downy peckers. Very sweet!
