We've also enjoyed the mourning doves, blue jays, cardinals, red-winged blackbirds, sparrows and wrens.

I have been gone so long that everyone has new headers and the blogs look different! I just read through this entire page of your posts...the berry trifle looks wonderful, seagulls make me smile (unless they dive down and grab my sandwich) and I enjoyed seeing all the birds in your yard. I blinked somewhere and summer arrived and I almost missed it! It is good to be back.

Oh, my goodness - wait until Di sees this! You'll have to build a Toad Inn for sure. They must know they're receiving lots of publicity. Soon the Toads will begin their own Blogs!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite bird in my yard is this mocking bird, every evening he sings like crazy and he just gives me so much joy in his song!
I will have to try that Chai White tea. I love Chai tea but haven't tried the white.

I have made friends with about 10 stellar Jays!
They are so amusing!
They wake me up in the morning!
They come to my open windows...checking to see where I am!
They perch where they can see into my living area...so I will see that they are there...and READY for PEANUTS!!!
They even hop up to my back door...and wait!
ANd when I come out...with that big ole bag of peanuts...they are so tamed that they just wait a foot or so from me!
It is so cute!
And they don't mind Doogan at all.
