Amanda recently went to the Grand Canyon.
She used her timer to capture a beautiful memory.
What a wonderful time she and Nick had!

ReplyDeleteTo capture time in the Grand Canyon....that is slowing down indeed, long enough to reflect on things MUCH BIGGER THAN US!
How are you dear one? Is the heat done now over your way?

ReplyDeleteGood morning precious friend,
ReplyDeleteOH WE ARE GETTING RAIN TODAY TOO! What a summer...but it has been grand in the sense that it has given me more time to read and create. THANK YOU for asking about my writing...well, I do believe that for ME, blogging has been the place where I have been focusing on the style of writing I believe I am called to write...inspirational. I am accepting the fact that I will not be pumping out anything great overnight, but the READING that I am doing to instruct me on how to write poetry is VERY HELPFUL in guiding me where I want to go. THANK YOU for your kind comments on BALZAC! I shared it with a writing group and it was not as enthusiastically received by those present. My husband even said I need to shorten it, but I haven't had the desire to touch it lately. I want to start fresh...but I fear that I am going through what many aspiring writers go through.....doubt. I am trying to take my own advice and trying to swim into deep waters, but it so deep for me, I am afraid!!!! Oh all this philosophical talk! YOU HAVE A TRIP TO MAKE!!!! Have a funnnnnnn trip with your sister dearest!
Anita
oh my..the first shot is just so beautiful! and the scenery...awesome! great shots!
ReplyDeletebeautiful photos! i was there when i was a kid and i remember being so afraid that i'd fall in!
ReplyDeleteMagnificent!! It is on our list of places we must see some day. Thank you for sharing the wonder Maria.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend.
Oh my goodness...breathtaking indeed my friend. I have never had the glory of being there myself..it is on my list of places to see. Every year I tell my husband that we should take a camping trip to Yellowstone..but we never do. Maybe next year.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had time with your dad...I really need to get down to see my parents in August.
Have a great weekend...it is a long one here in Canada....which is good... I have my husband home an extra day to help get settled in. xoxoxoxoxoxoo HUGS
GORGEOUS!!!!! What amazing and beautiful views she captured. I just love that first pic of the two of them looking at the grand canyon. She has her Mom's good eye for taking photos I see...:)
ReplyDeleteI hope you are enjoying the rest of your Summer!!! Sweet blessings to you my dear friend...:)
xoxo...Gloria
WOW what a SPECTACULAR vista...just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteRy and one of his buddies did a road trip to this LARGE land last year. He too thoroughly enjoyed himself, coming home with many stories.
How is your summer going dear friend?
We have been working on landscaping and gardening on the last side of the property. Our reward will be a fishing trip in the mountains, during the last week of August...can hardly wait to sneak away.
Sending a H*U*G your way my dear...Rosie
