Oh my sweet Maria....I was working on my new post when I saw that I got another comment...and it was you. I kid you NOT...I was thinking of you today as I was walking in a quiet moment. I was thinking of your joy, your commitment to spreading your love and just being grateful for having met YOU. I was going to send you an email, but I see that you have been away, and welcome home dear friend. This has been a busy month for so many dear friends in Blogland and I have missed many so much, and I too hope that you can spend more time with your precious father. Well dearest, school starts soon. I just got my calendar in the mail with all the dates for teacher in services and workshops; I have 19 more days of lazy bliss...I wish you HAPPINESS and beauty in the days to come and that is a sweet and wonderful pillow.....I want to cry at how KIND PEOPLE ARE!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI so hear your message about being busy. This summer is the FIRST SUMMER since we have been here in Minneapolis, that we have spent resting more, waiting to take on busy projects, and finally feeling that we are exploring our personal interests. I wish you enough time with yourself and your husband so you can THINK. That was my goal this summer....to THINK long enough about my personal goals. No professional goals; that will be given plenty of my energy as the new year rolls around. But personal goals brought to mind by that voice inside, God's gifts, calling. Thank you for your sweet words and beloved friendship. Our weather is cooling, and when I went outside this morning to water plants, there was a delightful CHILL that reminded me of school. YIKES! Not yet! AND.....take a popsicle dearest, for I believe the heat is not over!!!!!
