pretty whites for the inside
...not too much on the outside yet, just a little dusting of snow here and there.
Tomorrow night we're supposed to have 1-3 inches.
Not a lot for what the northeast can do!
I'm thinking too of white powdered sugar dusting my cakes
...maybe some light blue sparkling sprinkles for that icy snow look.
Getting ready for Christmas decorating and baking
but most of all
looking forward to lots of family time.

Wishing you love and joy all through Advent and Christmas.
MARIA MY SWEETHEART!!!!! Oh dearest, you should see the branches I have laid out on top of what looks like a fireplace in our new large room. It is a cornice that Ruben built to house our large TV. It is lovely, and in the branches, I have my collection of sweet Christmas birds, like this one here. WE DO HAVE SNOW and the season is ringing in perfectly; I like your idea of sugar sprinkles on your cake!!!! School is almost out, in about 2 weeks time and I WISH YOU A RELAXING TIME MY SWEET FRIEND!!! Anita

ReplyDeleteSending loving wishes right back to you dear Maria. I remember, when we lived up north, how we longed for the snow during the Christmas season. Your decorations are lovely.
ReplyDeleteGood morning you precious and fabulous friend! I so love that quote; HE qualifies those He has called....then I'M IN! Because I sure don't feel qualified, but He has called us ALL to something that sometimes seems overwhelming, doesn't it? THANK YOU FOR THAT REMINDER!!! And my precious friend, thank you for visiting. ANY SNOW? We had more, but not much. Just enough to remind us that it is the most wonderful time of the year.....blessings sweet Maria! Anita

Hi Maria,
ReplyDeleteYour picture is very pretty. Says it all! Warm, Winter, Glory, Snow, and off course the Bird!
Enjoy your Saturday morning cup. I am sipping tea, Mark and the children have left the house for a few hours and I am as free as a bird, woohoo.
Have a lovely time gearing up for Christmas. Will Jason be home for Christmas?
Love xx
Good morning dearest one! Oh, thank you for flying on over to see me this morning! I am spending it in my basement studio preparing two theatres to see if they will sell in Etsy. My poem book never sold, but I will give these theatres a try. They are cute!
ReplyDeleteYou kindness and friendship has been a blessing to me this year, Maria. We have all weathered many storms, both literal and in our lives; but together, we support each other. You are a blessing to ME!!! Enjoy your Sunday, Anita
