The northeast has had AMAZING weather.
Today it was in the 60's!
Early signs of spring are everywhere these days.
Doesn't God know know how to decorate for spring!
It's beautiful!
It's beautiful!
Last year's lil' crabapples dangling like red earrings, new spring buds and aqua skies.
Aqua and Red
And now we know why we love these colors together!Look at the red new buds on this tree!
The crocuses are opening up...
After I cropped this photo, I noticed a bee doing some early spring work!
This was fun to see.
And, YES! I did hop on the squares :o)
That's a must!
It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold:
when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.
-Charles Dickens
Spring has returned.
The Earth is like a child that knows poems.
-Rainer Maria Rilke
May we find the hope of spring blossoming in our hearts
like poetry!
Have a wonderful week, dear friends

Maria, I love that first picture combining the aqua and red colors! Gives me inspiration for a new design. :-) If it's okay, I would like to "pin" that picture to my Pinterest board of design inspirations. Please let me know if you'd rather that I not do that. I just love using the color combinations that God created!
ReplyDeleteOh please Spring come our way...we woke up to tons of snow today!!!
ReplyDeleteYour photos of the red and blue are so lovely! God is amazing...love to you...off to find a snow shovel! xoxoxoxo
Happy "almost" Spring, Maria! That sweet picture of the hopscotch game made me smile! Yes, you can see sings of Spring everywhere!! Have a very blessed day, Maria!
ReplyDeleteThe red and aqua colors remind me of old kitchen linens - charming! I like your signs of spring, Maria. Here in Denver, we walked in the sunshine to Whole Foods this morning. We're hankering for their roast chicken for dinner. As in your quote, the wind was cool but the sun felt warm. I'm going outside now to do some tidying in my tiny gardens. I see green shoots, too!
ReplyDeleteWe are so blessed with God's creation and beauty! Love your pics, delightful as always. Hugs, Lori xxx
ReplyDeleteMaria,

Maria!!!! Minnesota is NOT used to this early spring! I heard on the radio yesterday that we are 7 weeks early! But GOD DOES decorate well, doesn't He? LOVE LOVE LOVE your crocus photo and I think that this is going to be one FUN SPRING BREAK FOR US!!!! ENJOY! Anita
ReplyDeleteGood morning precious friend!
ReplyDeleteOur spring break is the first week of APRIL! And this will probably be the very FIRST break that is warm...all my other spring breaks as a teacher have been cold because typically here in Minneapolis, we don't usually get warmth until the END OF MAY! But we have been having such warm weather that our neighbors had a cook out on Sunday! BIZARRE!!!!
I am back to the classroom today; I took a day off yesterday to work like MAD in my workshop!!!
BIG HUGS TO YOU! Anita
Hi sweet Maria, the season to play outside is on it's way. I like your picture of the chalk on the pavement! Made me smile, my little ones re-found their colorful chalks today. Blue skies and lunch outside in the back yard, Miss Spring is on her way, finally. I think you are ahead of us, our Spring flowers are about to pop.
ReplyDeleteHave a most wonderful weekend, Maria, I hope the sun shines down on you and you get to play outside a lot xx

ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday to you my friend...may it be blessed in everyway.
ReplyDeleteYou are on Spring Break? We just started ours and have 2 lovely weeks. The snow has been falling for a few days and so it feels more like Christmas break.
Do you have anything magical planned my friend? I will be at home working...my Sydney goes to Mexico on a missions trip ...she leaves on Tuesday for 2 weeks. So I have already began to worry and have read Matthew 6;25 to 34 over and over again. God is good..he will protect.
Thank you so much for your sweet friendship and all the blessings you send my way...your sweet words always fill me up and bless me..
You are such an amazing friend. xoxoxoox love always
Wonderful photos evoke wonderful feelings. Thanks for sharing with us!
ReplyDeleteGOOD MORNING MY FRIEND!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit and words. Spring break for us in the first week of April! And yesterday, I looked at my calendar at work and miscalculated and thought NEXT WEEK was our break, but no....I THINK I CAN DO IT...and I believe that with our warm weather trend, my spring break will be the FIRST BREAK EVER that will be SPRING LIKE! Here in Minnesota our springs usually come in MID MAY! But all of this March the temps have reached up to 80! So God willing, I have some spring activities planned for OUTSIDE and also a day or two of hitting some local shops with my art wares, to see if I can possibly sell in shops. Just a thought!
AND WHEN IS YOUR BREAK? Wishing you a wonderful day my friend! Anita
It is awesome having spring back! And your photos show that. I love the Crocuses. And I don't know why I've never bought any of the bulbs! They are gorgeous to me.
ReplyDeleteIt has been in the 80's here all weekend. I think we are in for a hot summer here in Southern Illinois. We've already had to use our A.C.'s!! I've been busy getting the yard cleaned up and redoing our little deck so I haven't been around much.
I bet you are looking forward to Spring Break Maria.
Love Di ♥
Our crab apples look different.
