Skywatch Friday: A Springtime Anniversary Walk at UAlbany

A Springtime Anniversary Walk
in the University at Albany magnolia gardens
in the science wing of the campus.
We've taken this walk almost every spring since we started dating back in 1975.
It's a stunningly beautiful garden that shouldn't be missed at the end of April, early May.
It was a beautiful, sunny day so it was a perfect time to go!
I hope you can see it someday!

  2. I live in the Southern Tier of New York, and had no idea this garden existed. I haven't been to Albany in many years. Beautiful.

    1. Thank you! It is really lovely... The trees and bushes bloom for just that short period of time. We live just a little west of Albany... it's a tiny bit colder and our magnolias bloom a week later. When our buds are "almost there" I know they will be in full bloom at the university!

    1. The university has become more beautiful every year. The fountains are shorter (to save energy) but they are all lit up and so festive. The flowers blooming everywhere in the spring are really a sight to see!
