♫ Let the heavens rejoice ♪ let the earth be glad ♫
Psalm 96:1
Keeping a song in my heart
is a daily decision.
Some days I don't feel like 'singing.'
When those moments come, and life doesn't seem fair,
that's when I count on my loved ones to
remind me of 'the tune.'
That gentle song that softens my heart
and raises me up.
Thank you,
my family and friends
for keeping that gentle song in
alive in my heart.
♥on this wonderfully, beautiful Sunday.
I like to sing to the Lord.........yes yes yes !!......it open your heart.........lovely day.....love Ria....
ReplyDeleteHello Maria A wonderful surprise to see you lovely comment today , thank you so much. ♥
ReplyDeleteI don't feel like singing much today, but also cannot rely on my family to remind me of the tune, but I have wonderful friends who do ♥
Lots to grateful for, like my daughter-in-laws father having an op for Prostate cancer on thursday and is out of hospital already, not sure if that is a good thing . lets hope his results are good.
My youngest son (age 27) as finally got a diagnosis for his mental health problem, He has been told he has Aspergers Syndrome, but we have no idea where to go from here, hopefully he will get more help now.
Husband is off to South Korea with his work today, for a week, He works in Formula 1.. not long now til the end of the season .. but he is soooooo stressed, and so am I. Been doing it for 10 years now and taking the toll on our relationship, not the only factor though.
Anyway enjoy the new week ♥
Wishing you a blessed Sunday my sweet friend...this afternoon I am going to make fortune cookies which will be called faith cookies....I do devotions at school on Tuesday so we will see how this turns out. I hear they are tricky to make [I was going to make macarons for our family but will leave that for next weekend}
ReplyDeleteI will let you know how they turn out!
Sunday Hugs.....
Some days it really is difficult to sing Maria. It is a blessing to have loved ones who will lift us up.
ReplyDeletePraying for a special song in your heart and a blessed sunday.
Good Sunday morning to you, Maria!
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord! In spite of what goes on around me.
Music is food for the soul!
ReplyDeleteLove Di ♥
Bonjour ma cherie, I love music too, any kind of music for any kind of mood. Have a loveliest of Sundays, Maria and a wonderful week ahead. I keep thinking about your writing about telling that the European can visit each others countries rather easy. I truly think you are a wonderful soul, my friend. To just think about this and sharing it with your students so they can try to picture visiting other countries that easily.
ReplyDeleteFrance is beautiful. The environment, the food, the hospitality, the skies, everything. We get to stay another three days, hooray! Lots of love to YOU xxxx
Well greetings... my dear, dear friend,
ReplyDeleteI love this timely reminder to sing...I have missed you a ton.
It has been so very, very, long...I regret that life has been filled to the brim with things to do, people to enjoy, events to savor. I fear it will stay crazy for quite some time as the season of sparkle is almost upon us.
I will stop by for a much needed cuppa very soon...xoxo...Rosie
Keep singing, Maria, we need the lilt of your beautiful voice.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Dianne

Love the Psalms--they really appeal to my Zen nature. Especially like the 23rd--nothing like a rod & a good trout stream ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for telling me about picasa, I never tried it yet. You made yours so beautiful!
