... can be a special occasion ...
when we see the sun shining through rain
to make a rainbow
and skies clear
for a waxing moon

Celebrate special occasions every day.
They can happen
Running outside with my camera to take pictures of the skies
with everyone else at Sky Watch Friday!
You are very good at catching rainbows, Maria...I remember seeing quite a few here on your inspiring blog. Have a wonderful Spring!
ReplyDeleteIt's grand to experience the beauty all around us each day! Thank you for the beautiful images!

Yes any day!!! Just being able to breath makes the day special and then God blesses us with so much more. Beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteI love it too..great pictures Maria. That is a treat for me everyday..watching what nature does all around me. Have a great day ;D
ReplyDeleteOkay, Maria, if you have not, you HAVE TO read "I'm In Charge of Celebrations." It is one of the most awesome books I've ever read and it is a 10 minute (or less) read but take it slow and easy with a cup of tea and make it last a long time.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't tell you how many times I've read that book and love it more every time. My students were wild about it--Your post reminds me SO MUCH of this book. I think the author is Byrd Baylor--incredible!!
Love,
D.
Every day is a beautiful day.....when we wake up...and smile........yes thanks my Lord !!.....xxx....blessings and love from me Ria....xxx..
ReplyDeleteI so agree...we must take time to enjoy those special moments my friend. Love your sky images today. Our sky is all white with clouds today...nothing to see but the lovely little birds flying about my yard....gathering bits for their nests...off to clean my lint from my drier and throw it out to them...they soooo love that. xoxox hugs.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen a rainbow in a while...I always feel as if they are being sent from my mom. Maybe if I wish really hard there will be one this weekend...rain is coming!
ReplyDeleteYour day held lovely skies, Maria. Lots of promise up there.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful sky pictures. Love the rainbow and the moon! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteTake care Maria.
Dearest Maria!
ReplyDeleteI love your theme here, your entire blog. The solitude and company of tea time....oh how perfect that is. Every night, we have our tea together,my husband and I. I have it sometimes in the morning by myself to just dream and think and prepare for the busy day which is sometimes NOT SO CALM...thank you or coming by to wish me well for my birthday! It is such a blessing to have my 53. ENJOY THIS FINE APRIL DAY!!!! Anita
Hi Maria, thanks for visiting me and leaving such a nice comment! I really like the name of your blog - calm energy. That is just what i need! Yoot photos of the sky are beautiful - am your newest follower!
ReplyDeleteHi Maria, you keep running outside to take these beautiful pictures! Jason sees the same sky, the same moon, the same stars ...
ReplyDeleteI find myself looking up all the way I walk the children to school. The cherry blossoms have popped, there are trees on both sides of the pavement, it seems like we are walking through a tunnel of flowers!
Have a surprisingly sweet day Maria xxxxx
What a lovely variety of skies and terrific captures for the day, Maria! Always love seeing the moon! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy!

Hi Maria, Beautiful pics!
ReplyDeleteTo make the shredded paper bird nests, cover the bottom of a bowl with plastic wrap and then dip shredded paper in mix of glue and water and press onto bowl; add paper until the outside is dry shreds. (caution: very messy; I recommend plastic gloves :)
Have a great weekend.

Beautiful skies :)
