an oldfashioned wrap for my blueberry scones

I recently made blueberry scones
and thought to use my muffin tins lined with hand cut parchment squares.
I love the way they came out
and how easily they lifted from the pans and from the paper.

I hope you are having a wonderful week dear friends.
Regardless of life's ups and downs,
a little prayer
and
a cuppa tea {with a special treat} really soothes the soul, doesn't it?

"Bread and water can so easily be toast and tea."
but
Toast and tea can so easily become blueberry scones and a London Fog...

  1. I've never heard of a London fog, but it looks amazing. Will have to try one soon. Great idea for your scones, too.

  3. I LOVE LONDON FOG!!!!!!!!! In fact, tonight is the night to make one up; we are finally having a blizzard! But I am not liking the idea of going out in it today for school! HELLO THERE MARIA DEAREST! Adding those parchments just adds so much beauty, doesn't it?

    LOVE TO YOU TODAY! Anita

  4. Mmmm, that looks so good Maria! My hubby and I were reminiscing last weekend. We were remembering the days when wax paper was used in our parents homes more than anything else. I know that's not the same as parchment but it just made me think of that! How do you get the foam on the tea? Love Di ♥

  9. What a great idea! I've been craving scones, but I'm trying to not make anything too inviting right now. If it isn't here, I can't eat it! I will try this the next time I give in to temptation!

    Have a wonderful day!

  11. Oh, yummy, Maria! Blueberry scones are my favorite (I must admit to buying mine at Whole Foods). Yours look just perfect. I also like Earl Grey in the morning - but had never even considered a London Fog. That sounds tasty, too - now if only I had a milk frother! Have a wonderful restful weekend.

  13. Well, at least the tea here is really good. Be awhile before I see anything like a scone or muffin, unless I get into the big city... You're making me think it's worth the trouble.
