Loving what you do

When love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece.

For years I avoided Pampered Chef parties.

Then I went to my cousin's party.
Wednesday, Amanda, Rachael and I attended her fifth annual party.
She goes all out cooking and baking several recipes from the P.Chef cookbooks.
Her friend, Susan, is the master chef that comes to teach.
Susan has been a chef for decades.
She L O V E S what she does.
and
I love watching her work.

Here are a few of the recipes that we watched her make and bake.

  4. Another lovely post, Maria. I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen, will definitely try the recipes! The Cherry Cheesecake Coffeecake is so simple. I've made similar individual turnovers before...this is a great idea...it would make a perfect "wreath" for Christmas morning!

  5. I love Pampered Chef parties!

Since 1999, I have attended every party I've been invited to, and I've sold their products, (off and on, for almost as long!)

I have a kitchen full of products to prove it!

So what did you buy!? What's your favorite PC tool? Do tell!

  6. Oh, Maria, I'm reading your post early in the AM - I haven't eaten yet. I sure wish I had a nice big slice of the cherry coffee cake to go with my tea.

  7. Aah, wonderful quotes and I like the 'love what you do, it makes work sweet' very much. I think you love your work as a teacher a lot, don't you? I am thinking about you telling your students about the distance between the European countries. That us Europeans can rather easily travel to a neighbor country. I mean to teach at that level is awesome. Letting your students float away in their minds to far a way countries and have themselves to think about the differences like that. Oh, I wish I spoke English better so I could use correct sentences and words to make myself clear.
You do think outside out of the box enormously, sweet friend.
Much love for a happy Monday and you must have a big slice for me of that gorgeousness I'm looking at right now ^_~

  8. Now those sound easy to do and soooo yummy...that cherry delight has me running to the store to buy the yummies to whip one up..only thing is there is only 3 of us in the house now and I know I would eat the whole thing.

Maybe on the weekend..when I have some people over.

Hope your Monday is going well...these weeks just fly by.

Your Thanksgiving is next week...what fun! That must mean you get a day off...or two?

Hugs and thanks for sharing all the goodness....xoxo
