Our last flew the nest a few weeks ago.
Jason is doing very well in Texas.
He loves his new job.
He loves Austin.
The sun is shining most every day.
When Jason is happy, he whistles.
Chris tells me that Jason's whistling every morning!SOoooo missing him.
but
SOoooo proud too!

I want to thank my sweet Lord for His tender mercies.

A loving thank you to my husband, Chris,
who returns today after spending lots of time
helping Jason safely drive a carload of belongings to Texas
and gently settle in.
{I think I'll keep him - 33 yrs this July ;o)
I want to also thank all my friends and family that
cheered him on and that offered prayers
for his safe travels, new job and new life.
A big thank you to Janette {Janette's Sage}

This is awesome...what a great mother you are...I haven't had one fly that far away from home, but Sue Ann has.
ReplyDeleteWell this Native Texan says Welcome...and I hope you can come and enjoy our state and my birth city one day also. Yes, sunshine, we are spoiled, but wait until summer when we are in the 100's. Oh in the summer there are summer musicals in Zilker Park...a good time to come visit.
Hugs to you all through this adjustment.
Jason looks very pleased, Maria. My youngest son, Steve is a whistler too. I know how much you will miss Jason. I so understand the bittersweetness of it all, one of my granddaughters will be moving to Washington in July.

He's such a handsome young man. I know how hard it is. My daughter was home last week and the night before she left I was trying to figure out if I could just lock her in her room. But, we want them to be happy...and they are. That was the goal, wasn't it?
