  2. Over the weekend we bought a little vase for Marcy's room that has the word "Hope" painted on it. She said that she would look at it and think about things she would hope for. Today, before she comes home from school, I'll fill it with some flowers - for the people of Japan- Thank you for the inspiration.

  4. READING wonderful inspiring books with your students ....they are so lucky to have a teacher like you .
    I remember the excitement and the smell and the touch of a new book at school . Always have been a book-girl . I have many many books in my livingroom but lately I imagen ..... what when the children have their own houses and the rooms upstairs will get empty .... I could remove the books to a room upstairs and what will I do with my space in the livingroom ..... Dreaming about one very large painting , beautiful colours and a beautiful golden frame ..... Something is changing .... beginning in my imagination .....

    What happened in Japan is horrible. Mother Nature can be cruel sometimes.

  7. I have been unable to stop watching the news coverage. Today with the worry over the nuclear plant it just seems as if there is only so much these poor people can take. My prayers are with them and all who love them.

  9. HOPE...I so love that word my sweet friend...my prayers are with those sweet people. I have a student that is from Japan...she was not at school on Friday..and I have not heard anything yet...such a worry.
