So Simple

We picture love as heart-shaped because we do not know the shape of the soul.

Who, being loved, is poor?

  9. Oh where in Texas is your son coming? My older sons are age 27, 25, and 22. They all live near but are so busy we don't see them as much as I wish. Oh blessings on your transition...and if you come to Texas let me know, we are very friendly!

  10. Oh dearest Maria, how kind, how very, very kind of you to think about my posts...I had company last night that was so precious, and Friday nights are usually when I post my new ideas for the week.. I was unable to do it last night so I am here struggling to make my IDEAS clear for my readers! Do come back later, for I should be done in just a few minutes! I had a little poetry session over dinner with a colleague and she inspired me. I hope my thoughts are communicated clearly however, I am aiming to improve my poetry skills! YOU ARE SUCH A DEAR! And your dad, GOD BLESS HIS SOUL! Learning is the key to staying young for SURE!!! MERCI BIEN, et à bientôt!!! Anita

  11. Maria: I love those cupcakes. They are adorable! It's funny, because we were watching Paula Deen last night making cute cupcakes. But they weren't as cute as those Minnie ones! Thanks for thinking of me.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  12. We were all born and raised in Austin until the last 13 years of my 50 years, five children born there...family still there. So if he needs anything or even wants to get to know people let me know...the church Austin Stone is a good place and has a lot of young people. It is very beautiful...very liberal, but very beautiful and the economy is great!
Blessings to you...email me if we can help out

  16. Goodmorning sweet Maria-friend.
    Lovely tulips in your sidebar.
Your days with your son must be special .... Holland is a small country in two hours you drive from north to south or from east to west even less.
So we can always visit .
In your county its very common to fly .... That's a whole other story .
Its for the better we did not know all those things about letting our children go , when we became a mother .
My sweet daughter-in-law Vanessa is expecting her first child with my sweet sun , in may .....she has no idea yet .......
She noe worries sometimes because she is a stewardess with KLM and flies all over the world in this big double-deck jumbo !
She has to leave her babygirl for a few day every time .....
I am looking forward to take good care of my granddaughter whenever I may !
Would not it be wonderful when you could be a grandmother too .......
For now a sunny almost spring sundaymorning overhere and wish you one too .
All the best for your SPRINGBREAK .

  20. So simple, so sweet, so you!
How is your Sunday so far, Maria? We just got home from a 3 days in a little cottage somewhere in the woods (in the East of the Netherlands). The weather has been so so kind to us, our faces are brown tanned, I have officially welcomed Spring!
Much love always, has your Spring break begun? xxxx
