a smile and a wink

I stepped out last night to look at a couple
of
heavenly bodies...

...and they winked back at me!

It was Moon and Jupiter.

I said, "just a minute guys, I'll be right back with my camera!"
They waited ever so quietly as the winds kept the clouds away.
I snapped a half a dozen pictures and then thanked them for posing so sweetly.
If it's a clear night where you are, go outside and look UP!
It's a real WOW moment.

What a beautiful universe God made!

~

“The moon, like a flower

In heaven's high bower,

With silent delight

Sits and smiles on the night.”

 William Blake

  2. I agree with you Maria, the sky of late has been just magical. I go out and look up at it too, it just makes me feel so close to my Heavenly Father. :)

  3. Maria my precious friend!

I was away from Blogland yesterday but here I am to see that you captured what I have been MISSING! My eyes have been looking downward to much these past few days, but looking up is a good idea to gain perspective on what is going on down here on earth. WHAT A VIEW!! HOW ARE YOU PRECIOUS?

I start spring break next week. How about you? Anita

  4. Hi Maria,
Thanks for stopping by the other day, that was nice! The sky looks heavenly! Every night when I walk the dogs I look up at all of the stars and moon. Sometimes I am so enthralled, I don't even notice if my dogs tinkled!!
    Love Di ♥

Thank you for your sweetness...Syd is doing very well and they are blessing the people of Mexico but I think they are being blessed by the Mexicans even more!

  7. it is always so peaceful and grateful visiting you Maria .
The moon ....why did not I have such an inspiration .....
First of all I live in the city and there is just a little piece of sky to see .
Second it's never real dark with all the citylights .....
But ....I will try tonight and say thanks .....and think of you
You are a very dear far-away friend but ....when can both see the moon so......
