Time to Relax

For fast-acting relief, try slowing down.
~Lily Tomlin

To sit with a dog on a hillside {or boat} on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring - it was peace.
~Milan Kundera

  21. It looks so peaceful and relaxing Maria. I think you must be enjoying your summer.

Maria, I wonder if I might ask you a little favor. I'm writing a little mystery (I can't believe I have the nerve to even say that!) and setting it in a little town in Upstate NY. We lived near in a little town outside of Glens Falls for about five years and I really did love the little farming community. However, I am having a hard time remembering when things bloomed! Things like lilac, forsythia, lily of the valley - spring flowers, summer flowers. And when do the farmers plant their corn and hay? I want to get it right and am having no luck whatever finding the information on line.
Only if you have time Maria. I will just continue to look on-line in the meantime. Thank you for being such a sweet friend always.
