{while maintaining her sparkle and shine}

People are like towers

and stained-glass windows

they sparkle

and shine

when the sun is out

but when darkness sets in

their true beauty is revealed

only if there is a light from within.

~ It started as a dream ~

 and became a reality.

These are just a few of my niece's beautiful photos of Paris.
A few years ago, she traveled through Europe en route to Prague, capital of the Czech Republic.
She went there for the summer to do more studying in the field of internal medicine.
Sarah graduated this May from medical school with many distinguished honors.
{Auntie Maria is proud of you!}

Thank you for sharing your photos Sarah!
It was fun to use them for this fabulous virtual trip to Paris
with Anita and a so many other blog friends!

Fly on over to Castles Crowns and Cottages
for more Paris fun!

  22. Oh, these photos are just wonderful - I've only seen a few so far with the Eifell all lit up! This is such a special reminder that true beauty lies within us. That stained glass window looks like it's from a cathedral. When my girls travel, they love to go to mass in the old historic churches. Your post today was lovely. It's so nice to meet new friends.

  24. What gorgeous photos and I love how you put the words with them. I am not "sparkling" right now. We have been way to busy and so much of it has involved heaving lifting and working to put the house back together. We also had too much fun at my niece's wedding, so I'm ready for a bit of doing nothing as soon as my dad and his "lady friend" leave tomorrow. Maybe I'll get some "sparkly" back!

  26. BONJOUR MA CHÈRE AMIE!!!!

    Oh Maria, so good to see your comment come in! I cannot believe that you and Koralee still have school. WE TOO are having LOTS of rain and then HUMID HOT DAYS. And you are on the second floor? AHHH! Well, this makes week two for me of being DONE. The last two clerical teacher days, I got everything done and cleaned out. Now the challenge is being creative so I can start on my adventure of taking my art out locally.

    I wish you a productive day my dear sweet Maria! Anita
