taking a nap is

soooo
good for you!

My dog, Misty, knows how to take care of herself.
She gets a good night's sleep,
enjoys tiny little snacks,
eats a light supper,

and takes a nice nap every afternoon.

she's always
so sweet, gentle and adorable!
Misty is a good example ♥

When I come home from work these days,
I'm finding that I could use a nice little nap.

-the whole world-
had cookies and milk about three o'clock every afternoon
and then lay down with our blankies for a nap."

it is to the spirit what sleep is to the body,
nourishment and refreshment."

Wishing you a quiet, restful weekend!

  3. Oh dearest....you, me, Koralee and other dears who went back this week...aren't you just bushed? I am still up ONLY because I have to wait to go pick up Ruben from the university where he teaches ONE NIGHT CLASS...Oh, we need two cars!!!

Misty has it right. That quote is correct. My father would come home from work at 4:00 and have a cup of coffee with TWO cookies, every day. The man was slim, lived to be 82 and only died from his abuse of tobacco. But he knew how to "take care" of his mind and body....a little of this, a little of that, except those French cigarettes!!

BLESSINGS TO YOU MY DEAREST, Anita

  13. I think Robert Fulghum a clever person, that sounds so so good.
Your Misty is ADORABLE, Vinciane's best friends dog is also called Misty. What do you think of that!

Your blackboard is lovely, Maria, and so is your Fall piece next to it in the picture. I also started bringing some Fall decorations into our home. Made a chain of orange, what are the called, these orange 'plants' with a little yellow ball inside, do not know the English word, will look it up and let you know. Anyways, these orange things + a wooden bead. Looking lovely on my front door.
Have a restful weekend, my dear sweet friend xxx
