Every Mother's Day weekend Albany, NY's Washington Park
hosts an amazing tulip festival. There are thousands of tulips everywhere.
The gardens are extensive... and we are always surprised
as to how many varieties there are!
Moses will welcome you as you tour the gardens.
Happy weekend everyone!

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad Moses is still standing =)
DeleteI've never seen anything like those Crown Imperial tulips before. They do look like a crown!

I know am a week too late (while checking if this weeks post of Sky Watch was up), but since I am Dutch I'm a natural tulip nut! Do you know that in Holland they try to come out each year with a new variety? There are even black tulips, and one that looks like an icecream cone:)
