Summer Memories to take to School

It seems like summer just flew by, but as I stroll through my pictures,
I begin strolling through the weeks once again...
~How sweet~

Tuesday, I go back to school.
It's 'teacher staff day.'
I have to do a presentation on Windows Vista to
...an audience of teachers...
Wish me luck ;o)

Then, Wednesday the kids come.

I know that I can pray every morning for
*a spirit that's always renewed*
*a heart that is loving*
*an attitude of respect*
*an energizer body*
*a classroom that is welcoming*

*all of the above...so there'll be a sweet ride home*

~relaxing in a quiet car after my traditional stop at Dunkin' Donuts
:o)

Tonight, I pray for teachers and school children everywhere...
but most of all for
parents
who partner with God
to be their first and most important teachers.

Photos: summer memories, windows vista screen, here comes the bus, one of my many travel mugs ;) and the green space in my neighborhood on a moonlit night.

  1. This summer did go by fast...everyone thinks so. Good luck at school Maria...hope all the kids are well behaved.

I want your cute Dunkin' Donuts coffee mugs...I have some from White Castle that have that similar look...small but thick and heavy.

    Smiles to a lovely person,

  10. Blessings to you my teacher friend. I spent last week helping my daughter set up. It seemed an endless task, and now I know why she deserves 2 months off...It's a difficult job, and God bless you as you work in the class room.

  14. What a joy it would be to send little ones (or big ones) to a school where YOU would be their teacher. What a blessing and comfort you must be to all those parents!
