Last week I stole a few moments for myself on a busy afternoon...
... I strolled around a local garden shop ...
and look what I found out front!
I took this picture with the only camera I had ... my cellphone!
The first one was tweeked with the Picasa 3 program
...below is the original!
Weeeeeeeeeeee
Makes me feel like a little kid again!
Enjoy all the skywatching here at Sky Watch Friday!

Just like the Spirit, the wind can not be seen, but can be felt.

Hi Maria,
Pinwheels are the best! I get them every summer (small, hand-held ones) for my Grands. We all have fun watching them twirl in the breeze. Your photo of one against that blue sky is very pretty

Ah, I love pinwheels...they are such fun! Thanks for sharing them with us, and making us young again for the moment!
Came across here from Erin's blog (I think)...and loving every minute. So thanks for your inspirations...the story of the toys below is beautiful. I feel like I have heard it before, and yet the name of that book isn't familiar. Of course I am Australian, so out of the loop...almost!

Hello Maria, (love your name) I have popped over after reading a comment you left on Sandy's blog, I thought it wonderful and uplifting.
Pinwheels are fun and remind me of my childhood, a good memory. Thank you for sharing.....:-) Bernie

Good Sunday Morning Maria,
Your cell camera didn't do I bad job! Did you but the whirlygig for your yard? It was nice that you took some time for yourself. We don't do this often enough!

Oh I didn't check to see if there's a price ... It's at least 3-4 feet wide! It may be a permanent decoration there!
So fun to see it! Thanks for stopping by :o)
