first cup of coffee {together}

Do you remember when the kids were little, and as they awoke,
they would come in one by one to snuggle on your bed?

It's a special time that doesn't compare to any other.
~ Moments I treasured ~

Well, I still love it when the kids visit and we start the day that way!
Amanda came home yesterday and always joins us for that first cuppa coffee.

~ They are moments I treasure with all my heart ~

I hope you enjoy these beautiful quotes that inspired me this morning.

The informality of family life is a blessed condition that allows us to become our best while looking our worst.  ~Marge Kennedy

The morning cup of coffee has an exhilaration about it which the cheering influence of the afternoon or evening cup of tea cannot be expected to reproduce.  ~Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr., "Over the Teacups," 1891

What greater thing is there for human souls than to feel that they are joined for life - to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories.  ~George Eliot

“Peace is not merely a distant goal that we seek, but a means by which we arrive at that goal.”
~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

Peace, Comfort and Joy to you my dear friends and family

Thinking about it, I believe that moment would be my favorite moment of the week. It's a keeper, a most precious tradition!!
