Hi Maria,
Of all these beautiful sky shots - I like the unusual one of the rain on the screen the best! I'd listen to your pouring rain to go to sleep at night - love the sound of rain coming down. Last night I woke around 3AM to hear it on my roof here in CO - then let it put me to sleep again.

Such beautiful pictures Maria. It is raining here too - an answer to fervent prayers. Beautiful, wonderful rain. Thank You Lord!

My yard looks like a mini war zone from the LITTLE rain we were told we only a tiny chance of actually getting.

But...I suppose if it never rained...none of us would ever grow.

Love the beautiful skies...

Love the sense of change. I often get bored by our LACK of summer weather (clear blue skies, day after day after day) but I have to admit, not a problem THIS year.

My skies are turning dark as once again it is going to rain...it has been a very wet summer so far.

Your skies are lovely... and I save you as a favorite, and be back to read more.

You captured some great images before the deluge! I especially like the upper right image in the montage.

This must be where the expression, "When it rains, it pours," comes from.

We're dying for the rain, after a hot spell that has record breaking temperatures...lasted for a week and no let up insight.

Hello Maria,
Do you know that whenever I say Maria,I say it with an Italian accent in my brain and sometimes I start to sing "Maria" from West Side Story. But I am sure you've heard that a million times!
It poured like crazy here yesterday. We call our street Harrison St. River when it does that. Katie even suggested that we get out the rafts and see if we could float down the street! I must admit, I was tempted.

Shy sigh*
Thanks for all the nice comments! We had lots of flooding in the greater area here... roads closed etc. My home is okay... basement didn't flood thanks to the "engineering" of husband.
Diana, my cousin's in-laws were so flooded once, they DID canoe around their gardens!
all the best to everyone!
