A Charles Dickens Sky Watch

It's baaaack
*
* s * n * o * w *
It started up again Tuesday night
and it kept
 *
snowing
and snowing
and snowing

*
The shovel was finally retired for the night
and
we settled in for
 hot coffee and more Olympics

*
Oh...and, here are some
"blue snow windows"
{When light passes through ice,
the red light is absorbed while the blue is transmitted.}
 Because of the warm temps,
it's the snow that snowmen are made of!

"Well, East Coast girls are hip
I really dig those styles they wear."

  10. Oh my...I think I'll quit complaining about our freezing temps. I don't really like snow and we've had much more than usual...but, nothing like what you've had.

  14. Perfect snowfall photo - except for the light, it looks exactly like what I've seen outside my window for 3-4 days in a row. Not accumulating fast, but snowing steadily and constantly. It's like living inside a snow globe.

  15. Oh, Maria, you all have really gotten the snow. That first picture looks like a lamplight from Charles Dickens! Your nieces snow girl is very hip, and I really dig those styles she is wearing! Hot coffee and the Olympic Games sound like the perfect evening to me! Enjoy your weekend, dear friend! Vicki

  16. All over the country this year has enough snow. We may be tired of it, but it still makes for some outstanding sights.

  20. Maybe if snow here were that beautiful (and that plentiful meaning I might be more used to it), I might like it better. Absolutely gorgeous. Love your first photo, too.
