inspiratie online {inspiration online}

Have you met Saskia?
She shares the beauty of her world at Join My Joy?
Well, a few weeks ago, she sent me a lovely magazine.
Inside was a lot of inspiratie!  {inspiration}
I enjoyed all the photos, but I also enjoyed trying to figure out the meaning of all the Dutch words!
I could guess some of the them on my own... but I wanted to learn more!
{thank goodness for Google translator.}

fris and  fruitig  = fresh and fruity

waterbloem  =  water flower
tweede kans  nieuwe look voor de witte lampenkap = second chance new look for the white lampshade
dahlia in blauw   =  dahlia in blue
 de bloemetjes buiten  =  the flowers outside

binnenkijken  =  look inside
veel inspiratie bij persoonlijke winkels = much inspiration from personal shopping
liefde voor natuur  =  love for nature

van het veld naar je huis de kleur van lavendel =
from field to your house the color of lavender

uit de provence
uit = from, of

And how about these phrases:

oog voor detail
eye for detail

uit eigen boomgaard
from your own orchard

Thank you for all this fun and inspiratie, Saskia.
I learned so much!

Now, you run for the second day at school to spread your kindness, sweetness and love all over your lucky students. I do hope they know how lucky they are for having you in front of the class. Lavender has always been my favorite color--well, ever since this boy (who looked like a turtle when he left) from my little country church went off to California for a year and a half and lo and behold, was a swan when he came back. When he showed up at church in a lavender shirt the color of these pictures, I was a goner--well, for a few years. He returned my teen-aged infatuation for a while--oh, I think I got side-tracked--

anyway, beautiful layout on the magazine--

praying for you that school goes well--I think it is awesome that you guys start after labor day--we used to do that when I was small--I think the heat here in Arkansas has something to do with the early starts and mid-spring finishes--but I would trade early June heat for August roastings any day.

Hope you have a great school year.

Beautiful photos, Maria! The magazine looks so lovely.

Thank you for your prayers for our sweet Lucy. She is doing well considering she was only diagnosed five days ago. The doctors have assured us that it will get easier within a few weeks.

How is school going this year? I hope and pray you have a blessed year as you teach, encourage, and care for your students. God bless!

Hi Maria!!!!! It has been awhile since I have been to your beautiful blog! I am so happy to stop by this evening.

What a lovely magazine!!! The images are so lovely. Aren't the purple pages breathtaking?

I don't know the sweet lady you are talking about, but when I am done visiting I am headed over there.

I am so happy to be here and catch up, my friend!
'Dunk Yuh Vel' = Thank you!

Oh how nice Maria!! THose photos are incredible! The Dutch looks a bit like the structure of German, which I think was easier to learn than Spanish! Thanks for stopping by! I can't believe your sister was up here! Small world...

I actually met Saskia through your blog back in March, Maria.You both seem to have a lot in common, with your blogging style and lovely families, but mostly it's the sweet smiling faces you both have!

Oh Maria, your comment made me go in search of a photo of the porch in January, so you have to go back and see it, lol! Yes, I will definitely have to do that table inside because I will be missing that warm weather! Thanks for stopping by:-)
