Love Saturday Mornings!

Photobucket
Stayed in bed an extra hour.
Coffee making by itself in the kitchen
Multigrain bagels and peach preserves
Teddy bears still in their jammies
Little dark-eyed juncos back for the winter

Did I just type 'winter?'
Having another cup of hot coffee after typing 'winter!'

Enjoy your Saturday my friends!

  1. Hi Maria,
Ah yes winter is swiftly moving upon us. Your Saturday morning idea was the best! Happy weekend.

  2. I stayed in bed longer this morning too. In fact, I may be on the bed most of the day. My husband is shampooing the carpet and there is no where else to sit!

    Have a great weekend.

  4. I slept in this morning too and then when I woke up, I read for awhile, just for pure enjoyment. I love to do that. Great start to a great day. I hope the rest of your day is going well too!

  5. I had a long relaxing morning too...that actually slid into the afternoon as well...It's not only windy here today, but cold...a little too cold for fall...so am catching up on my reading.

I'm not thinking winter yet, but our weather has gotten cooler - and I love it!

  8. I think we saw the change from fall to winter at the beach this weekend. yesterday was borderline getting in the water (and we were adventerous enough to try it) but today was a definite "no" to getting in the water. too windy and cold!

you should e-mail me and I can tell you about a lot of fun beaches that would be nice honeymoon spots for your daughter!

  9. Hello, Maria,
May I join you for breakfast? Everything looks delicious! You are so wise to take some time for yourself on the weekend. Teaching is a wonderful profession, but teachers certainly need some time for themselves to nourish their body and spirit as they prepare for the next school week. Now, that I am retired I can stay in my jammies and sip coffee all morning long. Retirement is the best! I hope you enjoy us for Pink Saturday some time soon. We have a lot of fun. Blessings to you, dear friend! Vicki

  13. HI Maria,
No time for a second cup on Saturday - I was babysitting my 2 and 3 year old Grandchildren. However, today I did make time for myself...
