A Moon for Sky Watching

Did you see it this week?

A BIG ~ BEAUTIFUL MOON?

Photobucket

I did!
...And it took my breath Away...

After the moon obliged to another photo-shoot,
I thought
Maybe ~ A Moonlit Stroll?

And then the evening fire-whistle blew
.
...reminding me of the time...
I forgot we changed the clocks!

It was only five.

Moon!
You're so Early!

*Goodnight room,
Goodnight moon,

Goodnight stars, goodnight air,

Goodnight noises everywhere...

And a Good Sky Watching Weekend to you all !

  1. It was an exceptionally bright moon!

The Scribe @ Riverdaze (who lives close by) has a beautiful post on the moon...he says it was a "Hunters Moon"...if you haven't seen it, I know you would enjoy it Maria!

  4. mom, this moon picture is probably one of the best you've taken. The lavender, rosy purple-pink color of the sky coupled with the harvest pink-orange of the bright full moon is breath taking!! I saw it from down here too and didn't have my camera! The picture is heavenly!!! Happy Birthday and SkyWatch Friday =)

  23. Last night we were at Kendall's last football game of the season and Larry told me to look at the moon. It looked just exactly like your capture this week.

Thank you for your sweet comments on That Was Then This Is Now and please don't stop praying for Jeff. He is improving but those old bad habits are so hard to change.

Hope your weekend is joyful! I know it will be because you are such a joyful person. God bless, Dianne
