Salt of the Earth

"You are the salt of the earth."

It's time to get out of the salt shaker!

*Let us be ambassadors of love, faith, truth*

*Joyfully embracing our gifts*
and what God has given us to do in this life.

*Ambassadors don't hang out much behind embassy walls*
Let us be light to one another.
"No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead he puts it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house."
Luke 11:13

*Keep our own special distinctiveness*
"But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?"
Matthew 5:13

*Stay on duty. Let us be aware that we are each a reflection of God's love*
"So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view."
2 Corinthians 5:16

Living a joy-filled life in this world is not a science
but a dance
that is lead by the Spirit.

Representing our King is the greatest privilege in the world.

*Post inspired by Rex Keener's sermon.

  1. Amen, Maria! Tho our unsaved kids just want to believe that they are 'fine", we continue to pray and intercede for them...being a light in the darkness of their world.

  5. oh Maria...just what I need today. Your words are always so inspiring. I am off to church and then to a Christmas Home Tour today....I should get lots more inspiration...my head is always swimming when I get home from these tours. So many amazing ideas on how to decorate your home for Christmas.
I just saw your Starbucks mug with the heart on in over to the right in your sidebar. I have the same mug ...I use it at school. Happy Sunday to you...xoxoxoxo
