January
goes out

Tyrannosaurus Rex!
Photos taken leaving work today!
The wind was blowing so hard,
the sky changed twice while on my 15 minute commute!
Wheeeeew!

A snowy afternoon earlier this week...
still enjoying my tulips!
Thank God for Tulips!
Ahhh
There's no place like home!
Gusty is right. It looks cold up there. Great photographs.
ReplyDeleteClick those red slippers. Nice gusty snowy scenes.

Hi, Maria. How did the meeting go? I totally understand what you were saying about trying to teach character education without being able to talk about God or biblical principals. Challenging, and yet, the Word says we are salt and light. Although we cannot say everything we'd like to say, we can still make a difference. I am confident that your life speaks volumes to your students. God bless you!
ReplyDeleteJust hopped over from Farmgirl Cyn's blog ~ your blustery sky picture (on her sidebar)caught my attention. Is it every beautiful! I'm sure you are thankful to be safely home. :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Camille

ReplyDeleteThe photos are beautiful...but, I'm tire of snow:(
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures Maria. It looks so cold!
ReplyDeleteWow! What great shots and what a storm! Reminds me of a few blizzards I had to drive through when living in Montana! Hope you have a great weekend! Stay warm! And thanks for stopping by!!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
Fantastic shots. Lovely colors.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, Maria, you all have really been having some weather!! It is pouring rain right now here in Central Texas. I am so glad you have some tulips to brighten your winter days!! I saw some at the grocery store the other day and almost bought a pot. I think I am going tomorrow and buy some to celebrate my birthday (and really just because I love them so much!!) Thank you so much, my sweet friend, for stopping by to help me celebrate my birthday! Enjoy your weekend!! Vicki
ReplyDeleteAmazing pictures Maria. They make me feel like wrapping up in a quilt with a hot cup of tea!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful winter!
ReplyDeleteLovely captures Maria.
Enjoy the weekend.

ReplyDeleteNice weekend from Anne in Norway.
Wow that is a lot of wild weather but as a result you sure have had some interesting skies to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteYour photos Maria, captured the blustery cold snowy day well! Here it's really frigid out too, but no snow! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got home safely. That blowing snow looks as if it would block roads pretty quickly.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful set. That first shot is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHi Maria,
ReplyDeleteI'm sure glad your commute is only 15 minutes! It looked plenty treacherous out there - cold, too! You'll be able to build a snowman this weekend. Nothing quite like a bright spring bouquet when there is snow on the ground!
Hey Maria, the pictures are awesome. What kind of camera do you use?
ReplyDeleteWe have about an inch of sleet on the ground and streets--everything is at a virtual standstill--
Just been staying in and keeping warm and cozy with some piping hot lemon tea.
Enjoy your weekend.
Dianne
Well I am adoring the idea of SKY WATCH pics!
ReplyDeleteDid you have to drive to school in that?
In the South...and even here in the Northwest...we call that a BIG TIME SNOWDAY!!!!
XXOOXX
Delighted you are enjoying the PINK PARTY Maria!

Kisses to your little fur child over there! Doogan thinks she's adorable!
You've taken some great photos! Looks like you're having the same winter we've been having here in Nebraska!
ReplyDeleteI can tell you were driving in some of those pictures... I hope you were being careful... I love the Wizard of Oz pictures LOLOL love you, mom
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post Maria, just beautiful! And I am so glad to see January go! Love Di
ReplyDeleteNice and cold :)
ReplyDeleteLove those ruby slippers... We get cold & snow but most days are sunny and there's seldom wind. Your views reminded me of those Great Lakes winters of my youth.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a brutal winter for us here in western NC.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures echo my feelings exactly.
