On Sunday,
our pastor gave us this quote:
"God wants to bless us so we can bless others;
... to be conduits, not containers..."
I started thinking about conduits.
Merriam-Webster says:
:a natural or artificial channel through which something is conveyed:
Conduits around my house become metaphors

As always, your post is beautiful! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteGreat post Maria. You are so good at applying the message!
ReplyDeleteblessings,
I enjoy coming here to a place that is a conduit of peaceful...calm...energy!
ReplyDeleteOh, Maria, if the whole world could read, know, and really understand this post--just think of the transformation.
ReplyDeleteYou have a gift of transforming the WORLD around you by letting "your jar of clay" pour out eternal blessings from God--I am much the richer for having come to know you, Maria.

P.S. Hope you don't mind if I do a "spin-off" of this post.
You always make me think...and smile.
ReplyDeleteThere is a giveaway on my blog today...check it out!

God is about Loving and Sharing, HE shared his son, Jesus. As stewards of the word, we are called to fill our jars with his love and share it with everyone!
ReplyDeleteFor truely what good can come of a full jar if we don't give it to others who may need it. Thank you for sharing and filling my jar with inspiration. Deborah God bless!
This is such a creative post! And I so affirm the truth of your pastor's words. (Of course they come out of II Corinthians 9:8 & 11).
ReplyDeleteThe circumstances of my personal life prove that it IS more blessed to give than to receive, that the circle of giving just keeps "rolling" as I do my part. It seems that I no more than give but that I'm already receiving - AGAIN!
