Sunday was moving day.
...Rachael moved out of her old place...
and into a sweet newlywed apartment
We worked hard all day.

My sister & brother-in-law gave them their "old" sofa set and dining room table...
Which still look great and are perfect in the new apartment.

Cozy, cozy, cozy! Let the nesting begin!
ReplyDeleteOh the excitement of moving into the new place! There is no feeling quite like it. An empty canvas ready to be turned into home. I love it!
ReplyDeleteLove Di ♥
It looks like a great place to start life together!!
ReplyDeleteYou really know who your true friends & family are when it comes time to move. All good wishes to the soon-to-be newlyweds.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to watch them grow up, fall in love, and move on to making their own journey.
ReplyDeleteHow perfect! After 27 years in the parsonage up North, I was tickled to move into our little cottage here in Southern CA...I told my husband ~~it's like a newlywed home!!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to the cute couple in their new home.
Is there anything better than a happy child in love? I think not!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all of you!
Wish I could have lent a hand. Having married late, I missed all that "first apartment" thing.
ReplyDeleteOh a BIG Thank You to all the Wonderful Wishes! ♥ Maria
ReplyDeleteWhat fun Maria. I pray their life together will be filled with every good and perfect thing in Jesus.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh...so sweet. I adore that apartment! I want it. When is the wedding...I know it will not be long now. Hugs to you for being such a great mom. xoxox It is my daughters 21st birthday today...where does the time go?
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet, sweet couple they are! I can see the happiness in their faces, too. Your daughter looks like you, Maria! Both of you beautiful. This is such an exciting time for them. Thank you for your visits to Bunny Cottage and the kind comments you leave for me. Have a terrific rest of the week! It won't be too long before school is out for summer break. Love to you~ Vicki
ReplyDeleteWhat a novel idea--"after the wedding"
ReplyDeletetongue in cheek--should I have really said that? smile
You raised her right and to respect God's order of things--how awesome!
It looks like most everybody else has already commented so maybe I can get away with that LOL
And I love what you said on my comments about--"Maybe God didn't like that no pets sign on HIS beach--very interesting--I had not thought of that--
Rachel and Juan are precious and I am so very happy for them, their great gifts and their precious first apartment. I remember mine--
Blessing and love,
Dianne
We shall find you a teaching position, and voile la the nest is yours :D ...smile on...Rosie
ReplyDeleteAww! Very sweet. So much love in there. The apartment looks homey now with personal touches. Happy for them. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful and fantastic !! I Enjoyed the post !!
ReplyDeleteahhh...this post just makes me smile. What a milestone event - a new apartment - a new marriage. You did a great job on your journaling and pics for this special happening in your daughter's life.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I used light syrup in the cobbler just simply because that's what I had in the pantry.
This is such an exciting time for them! The last 2 times we have moved my daughter it has been down 3 flights and up 3 flights...no elevator. I think our kids are trying to kill us:)
ReplyDeleteThe apartment looks darling and how nice to start with some furniture!
I'm trying to get back to blogging. Your words have meant so much to me...thank you.
Sue
Boy does that bring back memories. We had a similar newlywed apartment. So sweet! They are an adorable couple.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the blue walls...Your daughter & husband-to-be are blessed to have such a loving & generous family. How excited you all must be.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to "meet" the happy couple. Their apartment looks perfect. I can still remember Bob's and my first cozy place when we got married - it was back in 1966! Much Happiness to them!
