Chamomile Nights

There' a new tea in my cupboard
from Stash Tea.
My daughter, Amanda served it to us when we were at her apartment a few weekends ago.
{Thank you, Amanda!}
It's a wonderful blend of chamomile and mint.
...enjoyed during a moment of calm before bed...

We ran many errands after I got home from work today.

At 8pm we were on our way home.
This is the pretty sunset that we enjoyed as we left the last parking lot.
{Taken with my cellphone walking to the car}

...The moon is full tonight...
It looked amazing as it rose over my neighbor's house.
It had a golden glow.
A little over a week ago, it looked like this.

While the moon is slow dancing across the sky,
I'm busy in the kitchen.

Stopping for a little treat

and then another

I'm going to try to make frosting flowers on my cupcakes tomorrow night.
Wilton Sprinkles are standing by "just in case."

It was a very full day, but I'm
relaxing now

  1. Hi Maria! Thanks for joining our giveaway fun. You brought back a happy memory here. My Nonno in Italy never went to bed without his chamomile tea at night- he claimed it gave him the best sleep. I don't drink tea too often, but I'll be looking for this one. Be sure to come back and visit us for part 2!
    Did I tell you that my son's girlfriend comes from Albany? She lives here with him, but her family is up there

  2. My daughter also introduced me to chamomile mint tea several years ago, Maria. It's nice to learn from our daughters! Mine introduced me to blogging too!
    Enjoy the wedding shower!

  16. Absolutely, I must see the cupcakes whether they have blooms or sprinkles on them - even better if I could reach across the miles and sample one! (Your cupcake tier is lovely!) The sunset sky is a wonderful end to your busy day, Maria. Have fun this weekend!

  17. I have an identical cup & saucer! All I need is the tea. Thanks for the "tip". It sounds delightful.

  18. Chamomille & mint are favorites separately, never thought of them together. Wild mint grows everywhere I've ever lived, and the past year or so a friend has been growing chamomille. Nothing like a good cup of tea and a lovely sunset.
