Something Delicioso! Parmesano Reggiano

Fresh Parmesano Reggiano Cheese!
I never knew it could taste like this!
Delicioso!
I've heard Rachael Ray talking about it all the time...and thought that all Parmesan cheese was the same until my cousin, Saro, explained it to me! It is only Parmesano Reggiano if it comes from that region of Italy. We treated ourselves to it at $12.99 a pound.
My reasoning was this...
We go out to eat only occasionally... soooo...
Why not enjoy fabulous cheese at home with our pasta! I checked with my cousin in Italy to see if I indeed purchased authentic Parmesano Reggiano cheese... ~I did~

Wonderful, makes me hungry just looking at it. Time for a bowl of mac and cheese.... cheap mac, expensive cheese.

It is a staple at our house. Used almost daily, it adds such wonderful flavor to nearly everything I make. Just used it tonite on homemade focaccia.

Mmmm Focaccia ... Haven't made that in a while... I'm usually baking bread dough for breakfast rolls ... I'll definitely have to make some dough this weekend and leave the cinnamon in the cupboard, and get out the pepper, oregano and parm reggiano :) Maria
