I watched this
...just for the fun of it...
and then, I remembered that
Rachael
still has her Wilton cake decorating kit tucked away
here at home!
here at home!
After three viewings, I made a small sample of buttercream.
and
practice and practiced.

dear family and friends!
Hello Maria. The cupcake looks yummy and gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the video.
Have a lovely weekend.

Hi, Maria! My daughter and I took a cake decorating class a year or so ago. We had so much fun! I learned a lot. My other daughter's former boss puts in a request from time to time for one of my cakes--not because they are so pretty, but because she loves buttercream frosting! Your post makes me want to pull out my cake decorating supplies and get busy making a cake--or cupcakes!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Oh how sweet....I adore them all...I can't wait to see yours...have fun today. Hugs. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI saw these other two this week too...good luck with yours, I'm sure they were be just as awesome! Can't wait to see them! Come say hi :D
ReplyDeleteMy mom always said, "Let's tidy up"--so that really brings back memories. Hope you enjoyed that second cup of coffee to the fullest.
ReplyDeleteThe cupcakes look yummy and thanks for sharing the links.
Love, D.
Maria,
ReplyDeleteI haven't stopped in to see you all week. I love the new header photo and spring pictures. Lovely! Thanks for recommending Stone Gable. I just added it to my bookmark list to enjoy later. My 8 year old really wants to decorate cakes and she loved the video. We are out of town for a few weeks but I will enjoy catching up with you again later.

ReplyDeleteYou're right, that soooo doesn't look easy. But LOVED it. Thank you for posting and HAPPY MAY !
ReplyDeleteHey Maria,
ReplyDeleteYou asked about the tornadoes. They have been all around us and night before last we were told that one was headed straight for the Little Rock area when it was about 30 or 45 minutes away. It changed directions and hit south of the city where it is more sparsely populated.
I stayed in the walk-in closet for 30 minutes or so with the sirens sounding the whole time. Last night there were numerous funnel clouds that just never touched down. One very close to my sister and one very close to my aunt--so it has been a nerve-wracking couple of days here.
It looks as though we are going to have better weather the next few days although extremely hot for this time of year with highs around 90. We may have some storms brewing that that kind of heat.
Thank you for your concern, precious friend.
Dianne
I don't know that I could eat such a beautiful looking cupcake. Wait a minute, who are we fooling here? I could eat a cupcake as beautiful as that! Love Di ♥
ReplyDeleteMarie, Thank you so much for the very kind words and link! You are just so very sweet.
ReplyDeleteI hope you make the daisies, they are really so easy!
What a lovely surprise!
Blessings to you,
Yvonne
I actually bought a decorating kit when I was in Florida at Sur la Table. I practice with it this weekend for the first time. I'm not all that good yet, but they tasted good and they did turn out pretty, if not perfect. Practice, practice!
ReplyDeleteLove the tutorial! She makes it looks so easy huh? Loving your beautiful pictures those apple blossoms are gorgeous. Hope you are having fun with the wedding plans.
