I am humbled by God's mercies
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
His mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is Your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in Him.”
Lamentations 3: 22-23

Rain or Shine
I feel His Presence
As I drive to work each morning
I see open sky
sweeping fieldsa city of people in the distance
~
and I know
He is here
♥
Not only during this week,
but every day
I pray to be still and know
that
What a calm assurance! He is here. He is alive, in control, and good. He is gracious, kind, loving and merciful He is full of compassion. He is altogether lovely.
ReplyDeleteBlogging is great. I love how we stumble on people of like minds. Thanks for visiting me at Yellow Shoe Day and for the compliments. Your photos are beautiful also. I have to laugh at your sidebar though. Thanks for naming your dog after me! Ha Ha! (I don't know what my parents were thinking!) I often hear "Misty - that's my cat's name."
ReplyDeletePlus my mom says the same thing about lipstick!
It's great to meet you.
Misty
It is a wonderful feeling when his peace envelopes us! Love Di ♥
ReplyDeleteThat is all...oh so true...i find him blessing me everyday and sometimes I even call upon him for a "tender mercy"..it comes. Come say hi :D
ReplyDeleteYes, new every morning--one of my favorite scriptures--
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the picture that shows the city of people in the distance. God is there with every one of them.
I always feel such sweet peace when I visit your blog, Maria. Thank you.
Oh, BTW, I decided to add back my comments after rethinking it and some good advice from another. I hope to see you there soon.
Love, D.
A wonderful message my friend....I do love the beautiful area you live in. xoxo
ReplyDeleteAh - the blessed peace of knowing He is always near. Beautiful Maria!
ReplyDeletei love reading your posts! :)
ReplyDeleteHow I love this white railing, when I think of the US I think of THIS white railing. I so so love it, love the color combination with the green green grass {especially in Summer}. Beautiful post, sweet Maria. Loved reading and looking about your little corner in the world.
ReplyDeleteNow about the chalk. So fun! It turned out exactly the way I had in mind.... So sweet of you to let me know. The little book, Dikkie Dik, is a famous one. All the adventures of this red cat are told everyday in Sesame Street. Off course you are way to old for Sesame Street but I thought perhaps it's fun for family or friends with children, should they come visiting you... Anyway, great post and pictures as always.
Have a merry happy happy Easter, sweet Maria, and a wonderful April! xoxoxo
Maria, I totally forgot to wish you the most beautiful weekend ever. Hope it will be filled with a lot of moments of joy, laughs, great ideas, oooh's and aaah's perhaps even a tear every now and then... It will be a fantastic one, most definitely! Being together and sharing all this joy!
ReplyDeleteSending many many special Easter wishes your way xoxoxo
Oh and about Miss Piggy, I really do love Miss Piggy!
Maria-you have no idea how your words touched my heart this morning. I didn't even realize it was Thursday (all days blur together right now) and honestly, you couldn't have said anything nicer to me. I'm going to share it with my mom, she will love it.
ReplyDeleteIt still looks as if she will move to the rehab center this afternoon. My husband leaves for home tomorrow, it is hard to let him go. I'm so much braver when he is with me, but he has to get back to work and I need to be here. I'm very ready to get back to blogging...I just need a bit more energy to make my brain work. Thank you so much.
Hugs,
Sue

ReplyDeleteYour posts are always so uplifting and inspirational. Thank you! I feel His presence every day and am so thankful for His watchcare my entire life. Have a blessed Easter, sweet friend! Vicki
Nice skies, Maria. I certainly felt a presence this a.m. after a week of snow: warm snow, a courting pair of ravens, first robin & flicker, bitterroot rosettes bursting from the earth.
ReplyDeleteDarling popped in to wish you and your family a joyous and blessed Easter.
ReplyDeleteLove & Hugs
